Oman Drydock Company (ODC) is operated by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Company of South Korea. The management contract started in September 2006 and lasts for a period of 10 years, with a 10-year extension option. Estimated revenues of about $210 million and 3,500 employees by 2020. Cost to build was OMR 700 million. Around 447 ships of various types and sizes have so far been handled at Oman Drydock Company's facilities for maintenance and repairs since it was launched in 2011.
