Oman Investment Authority
Oman Investment Authority (OIA) is a result of the merger of two of Oman's sovereign wealth funds, namely the State General Reserve Fund and Oman Investment Fund. It holds and manages the government's stakes in Omani companies, except for Petroleum Development Oman and the Sultanate's international investments. According to the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute, OAI's assets are valued at USD 17 billion. Investments held by the Directorate General of Investments at the Ministry of Finance were also transferred to OIA.
