Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) is an autonomous government body responsible for the management and administration of the General Reserve Fund and the assets of the Future Generations Fund on behalf of the State of Kuwait. Assets held by Kuwait Investment Authority are estimated at USD 599 billion (as of March 2018). Kuwait Investment Authority traces its roots to the Kuwait Investment Board, which was established in 1953.
