Saudi Press Agency has published a Royal decree dated 28 June 2014 relieving H.R.H. Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud from his post as Deputy Minister of Defense.
No reason was given for the decision.
Prince Khalid Bin Bandar, who was appointed to this position six weeks ago, was previously the Governor of Riyadh.
According to his biography on Wikipedia, Prince Khalid Bin Bandar was born on 16 March 1951. He graduated from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and holds a master’s degree in military sciences. Royal decree (Arabic)
