Singer has been associated with Dubai since 2008 and his departure from DIFC is said to be for personal reasons.
Singer joined the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority in August 2012. He oversaw the strategic development, operational management and administration of the center. He was also responsible for developing DIFC’s international relations with the world’s other leading financial centers.
Prior to DIFC, Singer served as the Chief Executive Officer of NASDAQ Dubai for four years, where he managed the transition of the exchange from its previous existence as DIFX onto the global platform of NASDAQ.
Before his move to Dubai in 2008, He was Senior Vice President of NASDAQ OMX Group and Head of NASDAQ International where he was responsible for NASDAQ’s global business development with a primary role of managing international relationships with companies outside the Americas.
Singer holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Finance from Brigham Young University. Read more
