Ooredoo appoints Sheikh Saud Al Thani as Kuwait Chairman

Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar.

Ooredoo Group (profile) today announced that it has appointed Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ooredoo Kuwait (profile).

He will succeed H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammad Bin Saud Al Thani, who was recently appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority.

Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani is currently the Chief ExecutiveOoredoo appoints Sheikh Saud Al Thani as Kuwait Chairman Officer of the company’s Qatar operations.

He joined in 1990 and has held several key positions in leading organisations, including Vice Chairman of the company’s Oman operations and as a Board Member for Arabsat.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Western International University, Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to appointing Sheikh Saud as Chairman, Mr. Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Ahmed Ali Al-Mohannadi as a Board Member.
