Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has announced the appointment of Mr. Salman Saleh alMahmeed as the company’s Chief Executive officer.
Mr. Almahmeed (biography) has over 30 years’ business experience including 15 years in the aviation industry and airport management, nine of which as Deputy CEO of Bahrain Airport Services.
Mr. Al Mahmeed also served as General Manager of Human Resources and Support Services at BAS.
He holds a Master in Business Administration and Hotel Management degree and has participated in a number of specialized courses and programs.
On this occasion, the Board of Directors of Bahrain Airport Services extended their congratulations to the new Chief Executive Officer, stressing their confidence in his abilities to develop the company and elevate the performance level to a promising and more successful height.
Bahrain Airport Services is the only operator of ground services at Bahrain International Airport since its establishment in 1977. The company oversees a full range of aircraft and passenger handling services, in-flight catering services, shipping and logistics, aircraft engineering and maintenance.
