Tawazun Economic Council has appointed Tareq Al Hosani as its CEO as well as the CEO of Tawazun Holding.
H.E. Eng. Tareq Al Hosani (biography) served as the Deputy Director General of the National Electronic Security Authority and also held various management positions at Mubadala Development Company and Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat), including as CEO of Yahsat from October 2011 until April 2013. He remains a Board Member of Yahsat since January 2013.
Before joining Yahsat, he was the Head of Integration and Senior Flight Test Engineer at the UAE Armed Forces from 1999 until 2007.
H.E. Al Hosani received his Master’s degree in Electronics and Communications from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI) in 2004 and his Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics Engineering from St. Louis University in 1996.
Tawazun Economic Council works actively to diversify the UAE economy by creating new ventures in sectors of national importance through partnership with international contractors, especially in the areas of national defense, knowledge, industry, and high value exports.
