The CEOs of the 50 largest companies in Arabia are a mixture of Gulf nationals and expatriates in a 75-25 split. Only one woman occupies the top executive post among the 50 largest companies. Surprisingly, the UAE accounts for 25 of the largest companies in Arabia, well ahead of Saudi, which is home to 10 companies. Qatar boasts six of the 50 top companies, Kuwait has five top companies, while Oman and Bahrain have two companies each.
