Al Salam Aerospace Industries (SAMI Aerospace), formerly Al Salam Aircraft Company, is engaged in the modification, assembly, repair, maintenance and overhaul of commercial, military and civil aircraft. The company was formed under the Saudi Economic Offset Program to develop the aviation industry in the Kingdom and establish self-sufficiency in commercial and military aircraft maintenance, repair, modification and upgrade. Al Salam Aerospace Industries maintains deep and long lasting relations with the Saudi Armed Forces and in particular the Royal Saudi Air Force, other defense and security services and strategic manufacturing partners headed by The Boeing Company.
