A K Al Muhaidib and Sons Group
A K Al Muhaidib and Sons Group was founded in 1943 by the late Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib. The main interest of the company was wholesale building materials and then later in 1959 it began importing food products, specifically rice. This sector has remained a core business for the company and has allowed it to expand its portfolio to include other grains and eventually leading to the establishment of a retail outlet chain, Giant Stores (later merged with Panda). Today, the company is active in five key sectors: food, real estate, building materials, construction and utilities and infrastructure.
