Boursa Kuwait Securities Company (BKSC)
Boursa Kuwait Securities Company is the operator and owner of the Kuwait Stock Exchange, which was founded in 1977. KSE had seen a gradual drop in liquidity from a high of KWD 33.9 billion in total value traded in 2007 to a low of KWD 5.9 billion in 2014. This has prompted legislators to privatize the exchange and paved the way for the establishment of Boursa Kuwait Securities Company with an authorized capital of KWD 60 million. The company floated 50% of its capital in October 2019.
