Lamprell is a regional market leader in the rig construction business. It provides engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas and renewable energy industries, construction of shallow-water drilling jackup rigs, liftboats, land rigs and rig refurbishment. Its primary facilities are located in Sharjah and Jebel Ali. In addition, Lamprell has facilities in Saudi Arabia (through a joint venture) and Kuwait. Combined, Lamprell's facilities cover approximately 910,000 m2 with 2.2 km of quayside. Lamprell is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
