Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (OTHAIM)

The Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company grew out of Saleh Al Othaim Trading, a foodstuff business established in Riyadh in 1956. It was founded in 1980 to expand the business with wholesale and retail stores across the country. Today, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company's primary activities include wholesale and retail of foodstuff through a network of grocery stores and malls. The company operates more than 400 supermarkets, convenience stores, wholesale outlets and hypermarkets in Saudi Arabia and 58 in Egypt. In July 2008, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company became a listed company on the Tadawul exchange.
